It was a day to celebrate with three AOC members reaching significant milestones on their AOC events. Today, Dan R. reached his 700th AOC event, Dolores reached her 500th, and Dave P. reached his very special 100th event. Because of so many friends wanting to celebrate with them, I invited the wait-listed friends to tag along so that they could be a part of the special day. It worked out perfectly, and we had not only a nice D1 hike, but we had a festive celebration afterward with both official members and tagalongs bringing food with which to celebrate. It was a morning worthy of our special friends. Lee worked hard getting his own photos for a Relive video, which he created after the hike. A link to his video is at the end of this write-up.

This was the first time that three special members reached their centennial events, so it involved quite a bit of thought and planning. Fortunately, the weather was perfect, with moderate temperatures and overcast skies, so the group stayed together well and remained almost dry by the end.
