What a difference a day makes! We had a sudden taste of Fall today with overcast skies and temperatures staying in the mid 60's. It was downright chilly before we warmed up from the brisk pace!

Ann made the warm-up hill look easy as she took an early lead and extended it up the hill. George wisely decided to stay in second place and just enjoy the climb. Everyone made it up the hill handily and we were all well warmed-up when we got to the top.

We saw the Renegades gathering for their hike, but we were too early for most of them. It's always nice to share hugs as we pass those friendly guys.

Our newbies, Stephanie and Santiago, did great. They are certainly well-suited to the hike, though I think they might soon be moving on to some tougher AOC events.
