It was a great morning for our hike with overcast skies, a breeze, and temperatures in the 70's.

We were happy to meet Mark S., a newbie to the AOC, whose long legs made the event easy for him! Stephanie was on her final hike as a newbie, as she now has completed ten events!

Although ther road is free of rocks and challenging footing, it's relentlessly up, so we all got a great workout going up. The walk down was easy!

My camera decided to refuse to show an image of the scene I wanted to shoot, so i was focusing blindly. Half my pictures were blurred, so Mike supplied some of his photos for me to add to the album.

The road hike was fun . . . with no falls or bruises! ~ Joyce
