It was cool and sunny – a great day to hike. We met at the Overflow parking lot, did introductions, and hiked to the Visitor Center. We took the Environmental Trail to the 24 Gun Trail and followed the 24 Gun Trail to Gilbert Road, turned around and headed for the Environmental Trail. We did it in a counterclockwise direction. Upon returning to the picnic area we headed back to the overflow parking lot.
