Another beautiful day for a hike in the woods! We had a great group who talked throughout the hike and repeatedly commented on the great weather and the beautiful trails.

We split the hike into Sope Creek and Cochran Shoals, taking in the cemetery and the much-appreciated bathrooms at the Columns Drive parking lot.

Debby and Blaine were our only newbies, though it was my first time meeting Margit, a very fit hiker and engaging conversationalist.

Lee took some really nice photos which have been added to the album, and Mike shared with me his photo of Marina tree-hugging! ~ Joyce
