Write Up:
As we began several deer crossed our path fairly close to us. First we hiked along a creek and saw the hole where a moonshine still once sat, and saw a large, old rusted barrel that was probably once a still. Then we climbed up to a ridge with a nice view. Everyone took a break sitting around a baptismal pool out in the woods, beside a creek and behind a little church. After that we headed back along the Etowah River. We had a great group! Everyone got in a good workout and had a good time along the way on this gorgeous day.
