We had absolutely beautiful weather for our event. Everyone worked hard to repair the trails that had been damaged by the storms the night before. Our group of volunteers pitched in and really made a difference! A red-tailed hawk and a blue heron were two of several sightings on this day. As they flew overhead in the deep blue skies they appeared to express their approval of our hard work. Afterwards, a few of us relaxed with lively conversation over lunch.
