Write Up:
A-W-E-S-O-M-E day to be at the Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park. The flowers were gorgeous and so was the weather!! :)

A major highlight during our trip = all of the blooming tulips. We saw hundreds and hundreds of them & took plenty of pictures to prove it! (See Facebook for details!)

We really enjoyed the orchids, too. 

We ate lunch at the Botanical Gardens. A brand-new cafe opened up there about a month ago and the food is really good (and healthy).

Following our two hour trip to the gardens, we spent an hour hiking around Piedmont Park where we enjoyed more fabulous weather and some people watching :)

All told, it was a cool day & a trip worth repeating in the future...
