Write Up:
Mid 80's and sunny at the edge of the Chattahoochee at Buford Dam, with smoke on the water that bordered on fog and cool air coming up the bank. We set our shuttle for the group and got on the water at 10:45 for the 4 mile leg to Settles Bridge for lunch. We got by "Rescue Rock", the only class II on the trip, with only one crash. The Rescue Girls, Barb and Jana brought Sharon out of it with everybody cheering and laughing.  Surfer Boy Glen tried a stand-up paddle board imitation that ended in a huge splash and crash!We finished the last eight miles in late afternoon sun amidst just a few turtles and many herons and ducks. A fisheman showed off a beautiful Rainbow Trout as we swept by.
