Write Up:

It was a great day at Tallulah Gorge! It had rained Saturday before sunset, so there was enough time for the rocks to dry out. We had no problems to get the permits Sunday morning.

A dry crossing at the bottom of stairs was not possible this time. The water level was high enough to cover a patch of rocks. Some people changed into water shoes, some decided to just get their boots wet and some crossed barefoot. The scrambling part went smoothly with one or two "scary" parts on the slab. It was not so bad, since if they slipped it only meant that they would get wet a little earlier.

There was absolutely no rain while we were in the gorge and we had plenty of swimming time. The Sliding Rock Trail was a fun, very steep hike with some scrambling.

After the leaving the park and eating at the Tallulah Grill, the rain started and it would stop before we left the restaurant. It was the perfect timing. No hiking or even driving in the rain.

Thanks to everyone who joined me on this trip.
