Write Up:
We had great weather and a nice group of 10, including one repeat member from the prior week's hike and a new member. We hiked from the Avondale Marta Station to the Decatur Cemetery through the bamboo forest, through the cemetery to Glenlake Park where we paused to explore the playground equipment, back through the cemetery, along some of the Great Lakes streets, and finally to the Decatur Square where the hike officially ended. Most of the group joined us for refreshment in the Brick Store before heading home. Those of us that walked back to the Avondale Station hiked about 4.5 miles, while those that hopped on Marta at the Decatur Station would have done about 4 miles. Here's my map from the week before which was similar to our hike:
