Write Up:
Thank you to a wonderful group of AOC'ers who came out and volunteered for Rivers Alive in Woodstock. The passion and energy this group had for keeping the outdoors clean and beautiful was very much appreciated. We thoroughly combed both sides of the river south of the 575 bridge and gathered a huge amount of trash, household items, sheetrock and even an old rusty oil barrel. I wish I had a count of the garbage bags, but there were so many that we loaded them in the back of a city truck at one point. Volunteering is rewarding and we did our part by giving back to the great outdoors.

The sponsors of this event in Woodstock are very thankful for our group as well.  Looking forward to a spring cleanup so make sure you check the AOC calendar beginning of 2012.
