Write Up:
Exploring was the theme of the day for this AOC hike at Berry College in Rome GA. We started off on a crisp fall afternoon from the carpool in Kennesaw. We started exploring even before we got out of the car since we took a wrong turn and ended up in Adairsville vs Rome. After about 20 minutes detour, we were back on track and at Berry College. We parked at a 150 year old church called Possum Trot. We did some exploring to find the key trail from this church. We found serveral trails before making our way to the main tail. A highligh of the hike was a stop a the Old Mill Wheel. This wheel was built in 1930 by students and served as a place to process grain for food on campus. We walking back to the cars  and enjoyed the 5.5 miles of hiking. We then drove to the main campus and walked the campus. Saw several deer walking around like pets and finished the day at the gothic style builings on the main campus. Look below for photos.
