Write Up:
Tallulah Gorge was in its full glory with plenty of fall colors and a asthetic release of water. We started the hike with a slow walk around the north and south rim trails. These trails provided excellent views of the gorge, the river, several waterfalls and spectacular fall colors. The water release was specifically set for kayakers who were navigating the river. This made for a special treat as we watched and photgraphed the action. After the rim trail walk, we hiked the High Bluffs trail to the Stoneplace Trail and looped back to the interpretive center.
