Write Up:
Some of the trails that were open in the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center just a few days before, were closed the day of this hike. So I took the group further into the Georgia Wildlife Federation (GWF) land than previously planned. The photo shows one of the two wooden bridges built by the GWF. There was also a nice observation tower.



In future hikes, because of its proximity to Mall of Georgia and I-85, I would recommend doing this section of the GWF early Sunday morning between dawn and 8:30 am., before the traffic picks up.
