What a gorgeous fall day! Despite the rain last night, we had a great group of 10 turn out for the Sawnee Mountain hike. We took our time hiking and talking as we made our way around the trails. We stopped at both mine shafts for pictures and then spent about 10 minutes up at the Indian Seats. It was a beautiful day for pictures and the view of the Georgia Mountains spans from Pine Log Mountain to Brasstown Bald. The view is spectacular! Look for more Sawnee Mountain hikes in the future.
