We took a full-day course designed and held by the Nantahala Outdoor Center for the beginner rider who wants to be an ace bythe end of the day. The morning session included learning the basics of off-road riding; braking, shifting, and balancing.After breaking for lunch, we rode on the Mouse Branch Trail at Tsali, with emphasis on signletrack skills including downhilling,switchbacking and cornering. We all had a blast and would totally recommend this course to others. After the course,we set up camp at Turkey Creek Campground.
