Write Up:
Last night we did a fantastic hike at Pine Mountain in Cartersville.  We begin our trek around 6:30 and headed towards the summit.  We put in 4.8 miles and did a figure 8 counter clockwise around the mountain.  We made it to the summit and enjoyed a beautiful overlook of the Canton area.  We could actually see the summit of Kennesaw Mountain in the distance.  The best part of the trip was the full moon.  It was beautiful.   Pine Mountain offered a good amount of aerobic exerise and I felt that everyone got a good work out with the switch backs and the uphill climbs.  Thank you all for coming out on this beautiful night and we look for to doing this hike again in the near future.  Be on the look out for Paula's sunrise hikes at Pine Mountain as well.  Job well done!  Paula & Ashley
