Write Up:
Wow, what a hike!  Lauren and Joyce's exploratory 10 miler at Dawson Forest turned into a fast-paced 13.5 mile adventure thanks to the willing and able group who agreed to venture onto some additional trails.  Recent rains made parts of the hike extremely muddy, but that's what waterproof boots are for. We were out for over 5 1/2 hours with 4 hours of actual hiking. Our total ascent was 2,037 ft.  Thanks to all for a great Saturday: Jennifer Howle, Janet Genutis, Susan Baker, Joe Conway, Damien Doute.
