Write Up:We had a nice hike up to the top of Stone Mountain taking a two mile route along the nature trail, part of the Cherokee, and then some big granite zig-zagging. The cloud cover gave us some nice colors early in the sunset but prevented us from witnessing the sun between the buildings as it got to the horizon. It was still a good time, with a great group, and well worth the effort.
