Our last hike today - - hike #4 - - began with the threat of rain, but the rain never developed.  In fact, the sun began to shine through the trees as we ended our hike!  Several of us on this trek were already a bit tired from the earlier hikes, so it made the elevation changes a real challenge. Vineyard Mt. Trail, at a fast pace,  is definitely a challenging hike, even at just 4.2 miles.  We were rewarded for our efforts by getting a fantastic view of the Alatoona Dam from Vineyard Mountain.  Libby Goldschmid and Lee Wilschek joined us for this hike, with Susan Baker, Jennifer Howle, Sunae Kim, Lisa Maldonado, Lauren, and Joyce Taaffe staying on from the earlier hike(s).
