While the weather conditions may not have been ideal, it was still a gorgeous day on the AT. Most of the day was clear and sunny, so the mountain views were stunning. We had such a great group of hikers, all well prepared and ready to make the best out of the day. We all enjoyed this section of the AT, which while difficult at times offers so much in the way of natural beauty. There were several groups of thru-hikers on the trail already, beginning the long journey to Maine.
