Write Up:
16 fierce and friendly warriors set up camp in a huge field way out in the Georgia countryside on Saturday.  We enjoyed a stroll on the trails past authentic Fields of Grass and down past the wheat to where Adam met "Lefty" - the resident donkey - and did his best brave Matador impression as Lefty circled and circled and circled his legs.
We shared some good grilled grub and a fire where we roasted smores and played Michele's cool word game til the wee hours of the morning, discovering, among other things, the true nature of women's hearts, the word "World" was actually a category, and the real ingredient in chocolate from Sharife, while Mike decided he felt pretty comfy in the Junior Chair after all.
The rain tore down from the sky and battered our covered shelter at night, making trips to our tents a cleansing experience.  We all eventually fell to sleeping, and woke to a much chillier world, and luckily, the rain was done with, the sun shone brightly soon enough.
After breakfast all the brave Warriors outfitted themselves with various layers, their guns and ammo and masks and headed out to the first "Town" where the Battles began.  Yellow paint bullets flew back and forth into the late afternoon, through various terrain, some areas with buildings and towers and some with dense bushes and trees for shelter.  There were a few good bumps and bruises, lots of strategizing, and fierce adrenaline-filled fun.
Soon enough, most of the bullets were spent and the brave Warriors shared a last hug or handshake and headed back to Atlanta to close the weekend.
Thanks again to AOC's Ashley Witter and Eddy Bridges of Wildfire Paintball for a spectacular, fun-filled event!
