You couldn't ask for a more perfect day to hike in the North Georgia mountains. We had a small, energetic group of hikers for a classic Coosa loop hike. It's amazing how quickly things change at this time of the year, as just a few weeks ago the trees were bare and we were admiring "winter" views. Now we have wildflowers, flame azaleas, and green, green, green everywhere. If you were waiting for spring to arrive, it's here!
