Our awesome dozen thoroughly enjoyed our 4 mile hike around the Roswell Area Park this evening - - a new hiking venue for the AOC. There are wide trails, soft ground, a beautiful pond, and lots of activity on the baseball and soccer fields.  Plus, it's well lighted in the evening, allowing for after-work hikes throughout the fall and winter!

Of special delight to the group was getting to meet ALEX - - our elusive AOC member.  Hopefully, he won't be so reclusive now that he's seen how friendly we are!  He was a bit shy of having photos taken, but we managed to get several of him throughout the hike.  He's a really sweet guy and a wonderful sport!
