The weather forecast was supposed to be cloudy with 20% chance of rain for some of the day. It turned out to be extremely foggy with drizzle for most of the hike.  However the temperatures were mild and there was no wind.  This is a great day-hike, with the lake, streams, mossy boulders, up and downs, significant elevation gain, long range views (that showed up on the return); everyone and the dogs did great - regardless of the weather.  It was good to share the time together hiking along in these great Appalachian mountains that we are so fortunate to have close by.
