Although it was chilly and cloudy, all 5 of us enjoyed the breezy morning trekking the Gwinnett Stream Ecology Trails.  Darlene's 4-legged Honey was so adorable.  We saw a group of "youngins" doing their tree walk and zip line events as we passed through the loop.

As we trekked the Homesite trail loop towards the 2nd Council Ring, we ran into a construction work that was undergoing. So, we stopped at that area and returned to the paved trail towards the iron bridge.  Four of us went down to see the creek while Darlene and Honey were watching us from the lookout balcony - all of us enjoyed that! Then Darlene and Honey waved goodbye while the remaining 4 of us proceeded to the Dam and much to our surprise the waterflow was quite impressive. We proceeded to the Ivy Creek Greenway, though some of the trails were partly eroding due to last week's heavy rain, we still enjoyed and completed our trek in 2 hours. Thanks everyone for the memorable Columbus Day hike.
