We had a good turnout for this hike with a perfect late afternoon sun and cool breeze.  The best part of the hike was having the very special companion "Shasta."  The event began with the usual introduction to one another. It was great to see Sunae, Tanya, Sharon H, Brigette, Raz and Milt again, but it was also so exciting to meet new friends, Joe, Stan and Jim B.

It was supposedly a leisurely paced hike, but by golly I was amazed by the group's agility.  They hiked at consistently briskly pace and yet most everyone was able to socialize with chatters. What a great group! Hope to get back with you guys in "the saddle again" and hope by then we will see Bambi and her family. Thanks!
