Everyone had a great time on this first-ever AOC Beltline hike.  We covered over 8 miles, but it hardly seemed like any distance at all.  There was so much to see:  artwork along the route, a glimpse of Piedmont Park and the Botanical Gardens, a skateboard park, interesting people, and the Irwin Street Market.  The market provided a wonderful place to sit and each lunch: The Bellstreet Market offered Mexicana fare - -  burritos, cesadillos, tacos, and Jakes had a luscious selection of home-made ice cream flavors including raspberry key-lime pie, cappucino, better pecan, pistacio gelato, fig-cognac, pumpkin custard, and Mexican spicy. The ice cream was so good, it warranted several of us going back for seconds.  The weather was perfect for our outing, and the company was exceptional.  The only regret is that so many got left on the wait list - - but Lauren and Joyce are already planning a follow-up hike.  Keep alert for the posting!
