It was a brisk but beautiful night for a bike ride around Stone Mountain.  Harry, Amy and John led a nice-size group for a relaxing and scenic journey around the park, where we enjoyed all of the wonderful Christmas lights on display.  Some of the bikers in our group decked themselves and their bikes out in festive lights.  After chatting and getting acquainted at the visitor center, we headed out. 

We first took a leisurely ride around the park (5 miles). After re-grouping we started another loop, this time taking a detour down "Snowflake Drive" where long and brilliant snowflake lights dangle in a display for all to admire.  Next we peddled into Stone Mountain village, where we hopped off the bikes and walked around to absorb the music and Holiday atmosphere.   We took a few minutes to watch the snow tubers on "snow mountain".  Finally we hopped back on our bikes and headed back to our cars.  All in all the ride lasted about an hour and a half.
