What a glorious day for the hike along the East Beltline with a congenial group of AOC friends.  (Yes, in short order we were all good friends!) We enjoyed a little breakfast at Sip (those who got there earlier enough, that is), and then headed on foot to the Beltline  . . . a mere 2 miles from Lindbergh Marta Station.  Once on the Beltline, we enjoyed the various pieces of art and overpass graffiti, the sounds of Piedmont Park, the skate board park, and the Inman St. Market, where we stopped for lunch and ice cream.  We took a detour through Cabbage Town after passing through the Krog St. tunnel before we headed to the Inman Marta Station to take the train back to Lindbergh.  The group covered the 8.5 mile trek quite handily and were SUPER cooperative about posing for pictures.  Of course, by the very end of our event, Lauren had her fill of photographs and struck her usual pose for the final picture.
