Write Up: What an awesome time for a hike at the Chattahoochee Bend State Park (Georgia’s newest state park). Don’t interesting trails and wonderful company make for a great day? Please take a moment and view the pics link as I’m sure you’ll want to sign up for the next hike there. The trail starts off next to a small winding stream and then quickly heads into thick woods all the way to your first view of the river that sports a really nice observation tower. Later in the hike you’ll find planned groves of pine trees and beautiful lush meadows – and judging by the tracks, plenty of deer enjoy that part of the park. Make plans to enjoy this (almost) undiscovered park soon! – A Happy Hiker
