6 of us traversed 10.2 miles and 2400 ft of elevation to reach the summit ofr Blood Mountain by way of Lake Winfield Scott and the Jarrard Gap Trail.  The Freeman Trail, which has quickly become one of my favorite trails in this area led us to the more challenging assent to the summit of Blood Mountain.  We enjoyed clear views and could even see the skyline of Atlanta in the far distance.
