Here’s to Sharon’s 100th hike on Sunday, February 2, 2013.  Congratulations!  There were 12 of us who enjoyed the hike on The Cherokee Trail around Stone Mountain, taking the white and orange trails for a 5-mile track.  The day was a perfect “taste of Spring” with a cool breeze, full sun, and 55-degrees.  The group upheld a moderate pace, which was a good way to do a little “pre-Super Bowl” exercise prior to the big game (before consuming snacks and beverages of choice).  We finished in 2 hours flat and had 3 short breaks along the way, once at the mill, once for a quick view of the lake, and once at the chimney where some of the group had imaginary smores.  Thank you to the participates for making it a fun hike with great people, good conversations, and a 100th hike cheer for Sharon.
