     Wild, Wet and Wonderful at Blood Mountain today… Special congrats to Andrew for coming out on a rainy day for his first AOC hike! Andrew joined Chad, John, Henley, Nate and Brian as we braved light rain and heavy fog for a wonderful hike.  The Mountain Laurel was beautiful as it glistened with the rain showers and the mountain streams we forded were lovely.  We all rode together with Chad and I found out that everyone actually enjoys Polka music (or not).  As a bonus, at the Blood Mountain shelter, we happened to run into Andy and his AOC group as they were dashing through a 17 mile hike!  On the way back we stopped off at Pueblos Mexican Restaurant in Dahlonega for some really great Mexican food. - A Happy Hiker
