This was one of those magical hikes that's perfect from the first minute to the last. We hiked briskly, but took time to enjoy the blooming plants and flowers that bordered the trail throughout the 4.5 miles.  Especially captivating was the quarry pond - - beautiful rocks and water.  We had to remain there for a while to take pictures and just look at our beautiful surroundings.  We topped off the hike with dinner at SWheat - - an awesome finish to a wonderful afternoon.  The pictures tell the tale . . .
