A very special beginner's hike at Murphey Candler this evening, with five brand new AOC members - - all friends and neighbors of Libby:  John and LaVeda, Karl and Kathryn, and Joann.  Welcome to the AOC!  Libby and I hope this first hike is just the beginning of many for you!  Welcome back to the trails, Sandra D.  I'm sure many of your former AOC friends will be happy to see your return.

Murphey Candler is such a sweet little hiking area - - well worth a bit of a drive across town!  How nice to have a bright, clear afternoon after so many days of rain.
