Write Up:

Seven of us gambled on the weather, and we got lucky!  There was a slight drizzle for a while, but the rain eventually stopped, allowing us to enjoy the fresh, clean, dry air. Because of the earlier rain, few people ventured out today, giving us an almost empty park on this Cinco de Mayo Sunday.  Tip for the future:  Geese can get very aggressive if you run out of food for them.  I had to run to keep from getting bitten by one of them after I ran out of chicken jerky!

The asphalt trail was perfect to keep our shoes clean today, but this park offers many additional biking and equestrian trails to add to the 3 miles of paved pedestrian trail.  Those will be great trails to explore on another trip to Tribble Mill. After the official hike was completed, Jim took some of us to see the beautiful shoals down by the river. They were beautiful but slippery!
