Write Up:
The most difficult part of today's hike at the Cherokee Trail was fighting the traffic and getting a parking space. Charlie Daniels was performing before the laser show, so people started settling at the meadow well before our 4 PM hike. We got a few pictures of his touring bus as we hiked past the meadow area. We had a fine hike, and were very welcoming to John S.'s good friend, Mike, who shared his first John-less hike with us. (Thanks for sending him our way, John!)
