While part of Atlanta saw hail, downpour of rain, and thunder, we were lucky and didn't see a drop of rain! The trails were not as muddy as one would have thought, but of course it was muggy. Nevertheless, that did not deter us! We did our 5 miles in less than 2 hours. Some heard a tree fall which we later discovered as our only obstacle on our path. Thank you all for making my 100th and second solo hike so enjoyable!
