It was perfect weather to hike today, and the three hikers on it made it even fun by discovering some unused trails within the unit including the one beneath the large rock along Summerbrook creek. Autumn seemed to have gently kissed the forest with leaves of different hues visible everywhere. There were several photo opportunities but unfortunately our trip leader forgot to insert the memory card inside her camera and so there are no pictures for this hike. Even so the images are well-etched in their minds. Since they covered 6 miles, a mile more than mentioned, this was definitely a D3! Great day, fun workout!!
