We welcomed Shyam into the AOC today as he did his first hike with us.  The group was mighty but small with four hikers.  It was pleasant weather after the couple of days of freezing craziness.  Everyone kept a good pace and we finished in under 2 hours.  Few bikers, few other hikers, lots of frozen ice in places, and no critters.  A good hike had by all.
