A nice little hike on what was supposed to be sunny day. It turned out to be cloudy and chilly & the trails were slick and damp. Although it was a chilly day, we had a fun time, hiking at a good pace and making a little under 6 miles in our stipulated time. We walked the lollipop trail navigating slick and muddy trails from the recent rain. We then proceeded to take the trail towards the river; the water leverl was higher than what we normally see. We spotted a few geese resting calmly on a rock along the ford.
