A beautiful day to be outdoors. It was cool but sunny - just perfect hiking weather. We walked the park from one end to the other. Signs of spring were clearly visible with trees sprouting new life, birds flying around, squirrels scurrying from tree to tree. We even spotted a heron sitting on some rocks mid-river. But no deer! Guess we were too noisy for them to stick around. We walked 6 miles in 2 hours 10 minutes, an enjoyable workout with enjoyable company.
