     Madalina and Arash (on their first AOC hike) joined Angela, Allston and myself (the Happy Hiker) for a wonderful day of trails and critters at the Cochran Mill Nature Center.  We knew this would be a great hike when almost immediately we were greeted on the trail by a small herd of deer!  The falls were lovely; and the trails, interspersed with spring wildflowers, were quite pleasant.  We finished off the hike with a visit to the Nature Center and really had a blast petting snakes and reptiles.  Allston even briefly sported snake handcuffs!  It was a great day to be outside and we couldn’t have asked for better company or a prettier environment!
