Despite the weather, seven brave souls showed up to hike with Joyce and me, making a nice little group of nine. The trails were somewhat slippery, but the rain held off until the very end of our 4 mile trek.  During the hike we saw 2 beautiful herons soaring over the lake, and encountered a cute little snake on the trail. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to hike with us! - Deb
