We took a less-traveled route for our second hike on Memorial Day.  We toured some of the streets in historic Roswell before entering the actual Vickery Creek CNRA.  The pace was moderate, allowing us time to see some of the sights and stop by the dam for a brief time.  We encountered many people and dogs while we were hiking - - likely a result of the work-free holiday.  After the hike, nine of us drove to the Broadway Diner for an excellent lunch.  They had carrot cake there!  ~ Joyce
