We feted Queen Libby well on this, her 200th hike with the AOC. A tiara, boa, poster, flowers, beads, pearls, ribbons, a wand, and a balloon - - gifts for her highness on her special day.

The hike was Libby's usual fast pace, so that most of us were thoroughly drenched by the time we reached the parking lot to eat the cupcakes Deb brought.  We actually hoped to get caught in the rain, but despite the frequent rumbles of thunder, we completed the hike before the clouds opened up.

A dozen of us topped off the evening with a delicious celebratory meal at the Broadway Diner.  I think Libby was overwhelmed by the attention!  ~ Joyce
