Write Up:
First off, let me say thanks to everyone that showed up to the Rock Town day hike. It is one of my favorite playgrounds for adults.

The day started off cold and overcast but everyone pretty much arrived on time to carpool and then we were on our way. After a short stop at McDonald’s for a potty break and a quick bite, (that will eventually kill us according to a close friend), we finally made it to the trail head where we met up with the rest of the group and started our short hike. Almost immediately we began to see where the name of the area came from as we climbed our first small rock for practice. Everyone got down safely and we moved on to bigger and badder rocks

The day went on, more rocks were climbed and the rain held off for our group. After a more difficult rock climb, performed by the brave souls of Josh, Candace, Rob and not so brave but stupid soul of myself, everyone moved on to lunch.

After a quick bite, we moved onto our last area of the massive playground where those who were willing climbed up to the top a great overlook and pictures were made.
