What a great time we had! You all were all awesome to climb with! Who could have asked for better weather, better climbing friends and such a fun day!? The hike up to Mt Yonah was only the start of the adventure! We had a few turbo hikers in our midst. After making it to the main face of Mt Yohan; the group rested as John set up 4 routes for everyone to start the climbing bit of the day's adventure. Routes 3 and 4 were by far the favorites; you could hear Pam's hoot and hollerin on them! Tony was a Rock Star for sharing his rope skills and helping out so much with the set ups and take downs. Not to mention the belay skills! The real challenge came when John and Tony set up double top ropes - about 250 feet up! Congrats to all that took on the challenge and climbed both routes - what an accomplishment. Cam showed off not only his killer legs but also his stellar belay skills. Great to have him there to help others learn the belay techniques. Desiree did a great job learning and applying the belay skills. Boy it was an AOC'er day! Half way through the beautiful sunny day, Tony C's AOC Mt Yonah group stopped by for a visit. What a great way for club members to meet and mingle. It was also great to see Paula and Chris as they stopped by while on their day hike with the pups. The evening ended by stopping in nearby Helen and grabbing dinner - The Troll Tavern had not quite seen a group as wonderfully dirty, ready for fun and living life so fully!
